Rosé & Champagne Duo

Our Champagne is sourced from vineyards located in the village of Vertus in the southern part of the Cote des Blancs, famous for the high quality of its Chardonnay grapes due in great part to the high content of chalk in the soils. The base vintage for this wine is 2018 but, the Reserve batch is comprised of wines from the 2015, 2016 and 2017 vintages. The Dosage was kept to a minimum of 6 grams per liter, which aligns with our love for wines with high acidity, typical of our beloved West Sonoma Coast. Our Rosé is sourced from Bruella Ranch, farmed by the Spaletta family just east of Lodi, an ideal site to grow this southern French varietal. The well drained, sandy soils along the Mokelumne River deliver fully fleshed out grapes at low sugars. This young planting pays homage to the long history of this varietal in the Central Valley (Clone 3 selection derived from Black Malvoisie aka Cinsault). It's the perfect fit of history and forward thinking.
