Grenache 2019
Sonoma Valley

Steel Plow vineyard is planted into 11 acres of Rhone varietals: Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Viognier. It is located in the heart of Sonoma Valley, the land of crescent moons. To realize our vision for Edaphos, we work with Grenache from Block 3 and Block 10 focusing specifically on clones that express the more ethereal characteristics of the varietal.
Dark purple color with blueish hues, slight opaque and greatly concentrated.
The aromas are classic with an array of fruits, ranging from black cherries to black plums and ripe blackberries, and is followed by scents of dry earth and dried oregano. The palate has brighter fruits framed by some ripe but firm tannins. A good acidity permeates throughout with an assertive finish.
