Cleary Ranch Pinot Noir 2021
Sonoma Coast
Cleary Ranch encompasses the 14 acres of Ernest’s vines in foggy Freestone Valley. Only 7 miles from the Pacific, it is one of the coldest areas in all of west Sonoma Coast with the marine layer lingering well into mid-day and returning late afternoon. Goldridge soil with clay peppering closer to Salmon Creek. The extremely cool climate allows for extended hang time before harvest delivering deep complexity.
Richly garnet-hued, this wine captivates the senses. Alluring notes of succulent crimson plums, and hints of pomegranate, are beautifully intertwined with layers of fresh cinnamon, raspberry, and dusty earth. Luscious red fruits harmoniously integrates with invigorating acidity and smooth tannins, crafting an assertive yet refined palate with impeccable balance. The complexity of flavors unfolds in waves of opulence, culminating in a vibrant and enduring finish.
