2019 Pinot Noir
Oregon
Located just three miles from the famed Freedom Hill Vineyard in the foothills of the Oregon Coast Range, Giving Tree Vineyard is a relatively cool site, with a climate shaped by winds that blow regularly, cooling the vines, lengthening the growing season, and helping the fruit retain excellent acidity resulting in wines that are built for ageability.
A ruby red and richly concentrated color wine with violet hues. Rich plum and cassis aromas greet the nose at first, followed by wild raspberries and strawberry compote; underlaying earthy and leathery notes. The palate is composed of sour fruits and fresh acidity with spices and earthy flavors making it a complete and intense wine.
