Pale ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Pinot Noir Grand Vent Vineyard "The Wrangler" has quite a stemmy/herbal and earth-laced nose over a core of fresh cranberries and Bing cherries plus hints of teas, roses and dusty soil. Light-bodied and fairly edgy in nature, there is a lot of chewy stem tannins and freshness here, with savory layers and an herbal lift on the finish.
Dense coloration hints at the intensity of this bold and enticing Pinot Noir with intriguing sappy aromas that include wild berries, rose hips and wet earth. The palate is lush yet savory with balanced acidity and present tannins with notes of dried herbs, forest floor and a touch of tanned leather.
